HOW CAN I POST AN ORDER FOR A SUBSCRIPTION?

Posting the orders through this site is the easiest, fastest, and safest way. Take your time while browsing through our complete magazine catalogue to find the one that suits you best or the one you wish to purchase as a gift. Once you have done, simply fill in the form with the requested information.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO ACTIVATE A PRINT SUBSCRIPTION? AND WHEN WILL MY FIRST ISSUE ARRIVE?

The requested subscription will be registered immediately after you fill in the registration form and confirm the inserted data. Normally the first issue will be delivered to your address or, if the subscription is a gift to the one of the recipient, approximately within 5 to 6 weeks (if it is a weekly publication) or within 8 to 9 weeks (if it is a monthly publication).

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES OF A MAGAZINE?

Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery Country and on the shipping method choice.

HOW CAN I LOG IN MY SUBSCRIPTION AREA OF THE SITE?

Through your username and password. In case you do not remember your login credentials, click here to retrieve them, and follow the instructions.
ONLY FOR YOUR FIRST ACCESS: to create your username and password you will need your subscription code and province. For your safety, you will be asked to associate to your subscription code, a username and password. From that moment on, the username and password will be your only credentials to access the subscription area.

To access with your subscription code and province:

a. enter your subscription code in the appropriate box, which can be found above address strip applied on all the magazines and mentioned in the subscription registration confirmation email;

b. enter the abbreviation of your province in the appropriate box (for example: MI for Milan);

c. in the space below the box that represents numbers, enter the numbers displayed. If the numbers are not correctly read, it is possible to request a new control code by clicking on the word “Request a new control code”.

d. press LOGIN.

Once the subscription code, province and control code have been entered, you will land on a page that allows you the choice of your username and password (to be confirmed). You will need to provide a valid e-mail address.

Username and password must have the following characteristics:

username: the username must be at least 6 characters long. Only alphanumeric characters and the special characters such as .-_ are allowed.

password: the password must be at least 8 characters long and comply with at least three of the following requirements: at least one capital letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one number, at least one special character.

Once all the data have been entered, click on the “Create login data” button. You will then receive at the email address provided a confirmation link: by clicking on this link you will complete your registration account and will be able to enter your Subscription Area with your username and password. Access with subscription code and province will no longer be possible.

IF AFTER ENTERING USERNAME AND PASSWORD APPEARS THE ERROR MESSAGE: “INVALID USERNAME AND / OR PASSWORD”. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

The login credentials entered are incorrect: to recover the correct ones, please follow the username and password recovery procedure, by clicking here.

I HAVE ENTERED A SUBSCRIPTION CODE AND PROVINCE, BUT THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGE APPEARS: “THE CONTROL CODE INSERTED IS WRONG. REQUEST A NEW CODE AND TRY AGAIN.” WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The number entered in the space below the image with the numbers (captcha control code) is incorrect or has not been entered. In case of access with subscription code and province, it is always necessary to enter the numerical control code.

I HAVE ENTERED THE SUBSCRIPTION CODE AND PROVINCE, BUT THE ERROR MESSAGE “SUBSCRIPTION CODE ALREADY ASSOCIATED WITH A USERNAME ” STILL APPEARS. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

A username has already been assigned at your subscription code. If you do not remember it, click here to retrieve your username and password.

HOW DOES AUTOMATIC RENEWAL SUBSCRIPTION WORK?

By selecting this option, your subscription will be renewed automatically for the same period and at the same price, with a credit card charge.
You can see the expiration date of your subscription, in your subscription area on this site. The automatic renewal can be deactivated at any time by always accessing your subscription area or contacting our Customer Service.
You will receive a reminder email when your subscription is about to expire.
THE ADVANTAGES OF AUTOMATIC RENEWAL are:

  • Save time: no more complications and deadlines to remember, so you don’t miss a single issue of your magazine
  • Price Locked
  • Freedom of management: you can cancel the automatic renewal service at any time

Choose the magazine to give as a gift and click on the “GIVE AS A GIFT” button. In the subscription form you must indicate, in addition to your data, also the data of the person to whom you want to send the magazine. Any payment slip will be sent to your address. By selecting “I SUBSCRIBE” in the membership form, you are indicating a subscription that you pay and receive at the address you want. If you choose the “GIVE AS A GIFT” option, you will indicate that you are paying the subscription, but you want the magazines to be sent to someone else as a gift.
In this case, as soon as you make the purchase by indicating the recipient’s email, you can send him a personalized email to announce your gift, on the date you have chosen: the subscription will be activated from that date onwards. Within the first copy, the beneficiary will also receive a paper communication that will remind them of your gift.

WHEN DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRE?

The expiry date is reported on the label that you may find on each issue. As shown in the image below, the remaining copies (copies still to be received) and the expiry date of the subscription are referred above the address.

You can check the expiry date of your subscription, both print and digital app, at any time directly on our site by logging in with the username and password to the subscriber’s area.

HOW DOES FLIP DIGITAL EDITION WORK?

The Flip Digital edition is an exclusive service that offers you the possibility to read your magazine online, on your tablet, smartphone, PC or MAC, through the use of a web browser, or through the special free App “HMI Edicola Italia”.

The Flip Digital edition is active for the entire duration of the print subscription, at the expiry of which you will no longer be able to view your magazine, back issues or attachments until you renew your membership.

Once activated, this service can be used, in two ways as below specified. Make sure to first register and then log in with your account credentials (e-mail and password).

  • Online, on your tablet, smartphone, PC or MAC on the https://hearst.chalco.net/ website via web browser (optimized and tested for Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome). This service DOES NOT WORK OFFLINE and it is not possible to download the entire number.
  • Offline, through the free App “HMI Edicola Italia”, downloadable on the App Store (for Apple devices) and on Google Play (for Android devices) This service allows you to download the magazine on your device (make sure to be connected to the internet) and then you can read it also offline.
  • To activate the Flip Digital edition, both in the web version and in the APP version, you must have your subscription code.

The APP Digital subscription is another product, different and NOT included in the paper subscription.

HOW CAN THE FLIP DIGITAL EDITION BE ACTIVATED?

You can activate the Flip Digital edition, both online version and “HMI Edicola Italia” App version, by first connecting and registering to the following website https://hearst.chalco.net/
Once connected, register by entering your subscription code, that you can find either the mail you have received and on the paper label of your hard copy (see image below). Follow the simple instructions that will guide you through the registration process and with just a few clicks you can also browse your magazine online. The Flip Digital Edition will be browsable after 48 hours from the receipt of your subscription code.

From now on, to use the online version, you can access at any time by connecting to the https://hearst.chalco.net/ website and logging in with the access credentials received at the time of your registration (email and password).
Once logged in from the site, under the USER section you can view your data information, including subscription code and subscription expiry, change and recover the access password and change the email on which the automatic notifications are sent. If you do not wish to receive the automatic email notifying the publication of each new issue, you can deactivate it. To make all the changes allowed, just click on the pencil symbol located at the foot of the USER section, tab “To edit your data click here”.
The login user email is NOT editable, it remains the one used for the first registration and activation of the service.
To use the Flip Digital App version, download the APP “HMI Edicola Italia” for free on the App Store (for Apple devices) or on Google Play (for Android devices) and follow the simple instructions shown on the welcome page.
N.B. The management of your account, meaning viewing and modify your USER data, can only take place by accessing the website https://hearst.chalco.net/.USER data cannot therefore be viewed nor modified through the App.

WHAT CAN I DO IF I DID NOT RECEIVE AN ISSUE OF THE MAGAZINE I SUBSCRIBED TO?

If, for a delivery mistake you may miss an issue of your magazine, please contact us by mail (abbonamenti@hearst.it) or on the phone (+39 0286896172), and we will send you a replacement copy or, at your choice, extend your subscription by one issue.

WHAT SHALL I DO IF I CHANGE MY ADDRESS?

The address change can also take place only for a certain period (for example only for the summer period) and you just need to inform us at least 30 days before. The magazine will be sent to the new address without any extra charge.
Please note the address change by contacting us via mail (abbonamenti@hearst.it) or on the phone (+39 0286896172).
If you prefer, you can also directly change your address in your Subscription Area. You will not see the changes immediately, because the new personal data will be taken over by our systems and will be active within a period ranging from a few hours to a maximum of 2 working days. Any subscription purchased in the meantime will be delivered at your new address.

HOW DO I PURCHASE AND ACTIVATE A DIGITAL APP SUBSCRIPTION?

You can purchase a digital App subscription to your favourite magazine through this site.

In case of purchase through this site, once the purchase is complete, you will land on a page that will confirm the registration of your subscription and you will receive at the same time, a first email with temporary data (E-mail and Province code) and the instructions to activate the subscription immediately in the app of the chosen magazine; within a maximum of 72 hours, you will receive a second email with the final data (Subscriber Code and Province Code) so to complete the activation in the App of the Magazine.

NB: If you have already subscribed in the past, you will only receive the email with the final registration data.

Download the App of the magazine you have chosen, REGISTER to the app, if you have not already done so, and enter, in the appropriate activation form, your temporary access data (Email and Province initials) or final access data (Subscriber Code and Initials Province) to activate the subscription.

NB: registration on this site and on the magazine app are two different and independent registrations; you must sign-in in each of the two systems and login to each one with the respective credentials (this means you have two different accounts) with which you have registered. NB: subscriptions can also be purchased directly in the app through the appropriate app stores (Apple iTunes, Google Play, Amazon App shop, depending on the operating system of your device). For this type of purchase directly through the app stores, pay attention to the notes below:

Registration to the App of the magazine is not mandatory. But only by signing in the App BEFORE PURCHASE you can use your subscription purchased on different devices, like tablets and smartphones (both Apple, Android and Amazon Kindle Fire), up to a maximum of 5: just LOGIN to the App on the other devices with the same credentials (email and password) with which you have signed in the App the first time. Furthermore, registration allows us to offer a better service, also in terms of technical assistance.

For subscriptions purchased in the app stores, the purchase is managed directly from the store with your store account; in these cases, we have no visibility on this account and on the transactions in order to verify and intervene.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL I CAN READ MY DIGITAL MAGAZINE ON THE APP?

If you post an order on this website, your subscription is immediately active: after filling in the purchasing form you will receive a confirmation reply with temporary login information, to be used in “Subscription Area” of the specific App of the chosen magazine.
In 72/96 hours, we will send you the definitive login information (Subscription Code and Province), to be used to access your App till the expiration date of your digital subscription.

ON WHICH DEVICES CAN I USE THE DIGITAL APP SUBSCRIPTION?

All our digital editions are available on APP for mobile devices: Apple (iPad and iPhone) on the App Store and Android (tablet and smartphone) on Google Play/Play Store, Kindle Fire. Apps compatible with latest generation of Apple and Android devices. You can take advantage of your digital APP subscription on multiple devices, both Apple, Android and Kindle Fire (up to a maximum of 5): just LOGIN always with the same access credentials (email and password) with which the user registered for the first time in the App.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

To cancel your subscription at any time, please contact us by mail (abbonamenti@hearst.it) or by phone (+39 0286896172). Your subscription will be cancelled immediately, and you will receive a full refund on any unsent copies.

IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL A SUBSCRIPTION, HOW DO I GET THE REFUND?

You will get your refund by credit transfer after approximately 60 days.

I TOOK OUT A SUBSCRPTION BUT THEN SOMEONE VERY DEAR TO ME HAS GIVEN THE SAME SUBSCRIPTION AS A GIFT. WHAT CAN I DO?

You can choose to extend the ongoing subscription for another year, or you can subscribe to a different magazine. In the latter case it is possible that the number of issues will be different, due to a difference in the subscription prices.

IF I AM LIVING IN ITALY OR I WANT TO GIVE A SUBSCRIPTION AS A GIFT TO SOMEONE WHO LIVES IN ITALY, WHAT SHALL I DO?
